In January 2017 ADT Project Consulting GmbH and Unternehmensberatung Dr. Karb GmbH (UBK) was contracted by FAO for the design and implementation of a national AIT system for the Republic of Suriname,
The project includes the elaboration of the AIT national strategy and the implementation of an AITS with different species and different registration schemes as well as the implementation of ATS platform software. This platform targets all legal, technical and IT matters for the planning, implementation or operation of animal traceability systems. It is implemented as web portal containing a knowledgebase as well as software modules for the relevant information system.
