The Better Training for Safer Food (BTSF) is the European Commission’s initiative from the Directorate-General for Health and Food Safety (DG Santé) managed by the Consumers, Health, Agriculture and Food Executive Agency (CHAFEA), aiming to organize trainings in the areas of food and feed law, plant and animal health, and animal welfare rules.

n January 2016 CHAFEA continues the contract with ADT Project Consulting GmbH for another two years. 10 one week training course will be held in  2016 and 2017 in Lyon/France, Lisbon/Portugal, Warsaw/Poland, Munich/Germany and Llubljana, Slovenia.

The first training session in 2016 took place in Lyon from the 11 to the 15 April 2016. 27 participants in total from 22 EU countries and from the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Serbia and Tunisia attended the training session.
